Natural Skin Care By M U V A Z I®
Confucius says "The superior man understands what is right; the inferior man understands what will sell."
We agree with Confucius here. M U V A Z I® has built results into our product, and then we doubled it!
Understanding what is right is a great start in reinventing natural skin care and how it meets the expectations of its customers. Let's take Oat Beta Glucan for instance, studies have been done on its effectiveness in treating fine lines and wrinkles and was tested at ½ %, we liked the studies and doubled it. M U V A Z I® starts with 1% Oat beta Glucan.
Once again returning to understanding what is right instead of what sells, other skin care lines may use 1% - 3% of a 1% solution in a formulation.
M U V A Z I® likes to take results and double them as a minimum.
We don't want to give away all of our proprietary information here as this would not be wise, but sufficed to say that M U V A Z I® uses more Oat Beta Glucan in our Hydrating Face Serum than any one!
What does this mean for you potentially? It means that we have formulated for what is right, not just what will sell, understanding that what is right will ultimately sell.
If you are tired of looking and trying skin care systems and being disappointed, then give us a try and see why customers say things like this about M U V A Z I®. . . "This is absolutely the best skin care system I have ever used! I have a drawer full of products I have tried and disliked. I could tell my skin felt different the first time I used it. My skin feels alive finally! It's softer and younger looking already, after a month's use. I will be a life-time user now. Thanks for making the product that I have been looking for forever! I'm cleaning out the drawer and throwing all my other products in the trash! Thank you!"

All products that are natural can be broadly defined as skin care products, treatments, and methods that are based on naturally-derived ingredients such as herbs, essential oils, flowers, roots, and other plant products. These active ingredients are blended with naturally ocurring carriers, essential oils, emulsifiers, preservatives, humectants, and surfactants to create all natural skin care products. The manufacturing processes are important as well. These products to care for your skin are free of synthetic chemicals and are made with manufacturing processes that preserve the holistic value of the ingredients. You might find it helpful to learn a little bit about these components. This series of articles will define carriers, emulsifiers, preservatives, humectants, and surfactants to give you a better idea of what it is that you are using in your products.
Carrier oils, also called base oils, are basically the vehicle for essential oils and other active ingredients. Carrier oils are chosen for their neutral aromas and the fact that they do not evaporate, unlike essential oils. It is ideal to use organic oils because they are the most pure and unadulterated option for organic skin care. Different carrier oils are chosen for properties of lubrication, absorption, and viscosity, depending on the desired characteristics of the final product. It is important to note that you should not use mineral oil as a carrier since it will not absorb into the skin.
There are many different types of carrier oils used as ingredients in natural skin care products. Some popular oils include sweet almond oil, avocado oil, sesame oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil, evening primrose oil, canola oil, sunflower oil, castor oil, and jojoba oil. All of these oils have different properties and create different characteristics in your product.
When carrier oils are used for massage, viscosity is especially important. Olive oil is a thick carrier oil while grapeseed oil is thin and light. Somewhere in the middle of the spectrum are sunflower and sweet almond oils. Carrier oils can also be blended to combine their properties to create the perfect all natural skin care.
When working with carrier oils and manufacturing skin care products it is important to keep them in a cool, dark place so they don’t go rancid too quickly. Some oils can be refrigerated to prolong freshness but others, such as avocado oil, cannot be refrigerated. Many carrier oils will turn cloudy upon refrigeration, but will regain clarity when they return to room temperature.
safety, one important thing to know about carrier oils in facial care products is that people with nut allergies should avoid carrier oils from nut products, just to be safe. Pure nut oils do not contain the allergenic proteinaceous part of the nut, but there is always the risk of cross contamination. Potential carrier oils from nut oils include walnut oil, macadamia nut oil, pecan oil, peanut oil, and fractionated coconut oil. Also, if there is the chance that the product would be ingested, then mineral oil should not be used as a carrier oil since it can be toxic.
Additional measures of safety for these types of products also span a couple of other concerns. M U V A Z I® is a cruelty free product, it never has and never will be tested on animals. Not to mention the organic nature makes it non-toxic. We wouldn't recommend it but if you did eat any M U V A Z I® product you would be safe. And finally M U V A Z I® has been formulated as a paraben free skin care line. Studies on parabens suggest that they may cause cancer as well as a variety of other problems. Parabens are very commonly used as preservatives in many cosmetic products. When you look at a cosmetic product label and see any word that contains paraben we suggest you put it down and move on.
